We are an art collective
Official, unofficial, legal and semi-legal distributors of progressive art.
We’re based in Germany and Australia but operate worldwide. Inspired by Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four, Undenk is born from the German translation of the Newspeak term “crimethink”.
Our origins are in street art. Now we explore all mediums with the intent of reflecting the sophisticated, controversial and provocative world around us.
Thought Crime Full Time
Along with our low-fi street-art, we occasionally participate in and stage public and official exhibitions. Here we focus more on indoor artforms such as traditional cotton canvases, painted skateboards and recycled materials such as plain cardboard. Both approaches have the use of stencil-techniques in common.
Blank Walls = Blank Minds
We explore political and social topics such as the idiocy of religion, globalization, militarism and the evolution of capitalism. We also enjoy ridiculing and criticising the hypocrisy and cynicism of the 21st century Western industrial society.
